How pricing works

What the price is made of

Every price on this site comes from the same calculator your order is placed with. It combines the paper stock, the sheet size and how many pieces fit on it, the number of ink colours and sides, any finishing (folding, scoring, die cutting, lamination) and the quantity.

Why quantity changes the unit price

Most of the cost of a print run is setup: plates, make-ready, washup and the first sheets through the press. Those costs are the same whether you print a few hundred or a few thousand, so the more pieces share them, the lower each piece costs. That is why the calculator shows the price falling per unit as the quantity goes up.

What is not in the price

Design work, artwork repairs and shipping outside the options the calculator offers are quoted separately, and only after we have seen your files. Nothing is added without telling you first.

Turnaround

Production time starts when your proof is approved, not when the order is placed. The calculator shows the turnaround options available for your configuration.
